Another must-ride adventure: the wild beauty of Val Viola

This classic route—one of the most popular around Livigno—offers several options and variations. The most accessible version starts with a shuttle up to Passo del Foscagno.

From here, we drop into a fast, sometimes technical singletrack descent, followed by a 4 km flat forest road leading us to the entrance of Val Viola. The climb—around 10 km—winds through rolling singletrack and gravel roads, bringing us close to the pass after a well-earned lunch at a stunning alpine hut by the lake.

From the border pass, the real fun begins: an adrenaline-filled singletrack descent into Val di Camp. Before reaching Sfazù, we pass by the magical Lagh da Val Viola, nestled in a fairytale larch forest.

The final section towards Angeli Custodi is pure flow—a fast mule track where speed and fun go hand in hand.
