Lach Palü Wild Tour
Enduro

Description
A tour that will test your technical skills, including a surprising ending… a real first!
Inspired by the “Val Minor + Bernina” tour, though with more technical parts and a newly built trail, here is the “Lac Palù Wild Tour”.
By shuttle from Livigno we’ll reach the Forcola Pass; from here we’ll climb for about 200 m on a pleasant bike trail before descending through the opposite valley, following a trail starting with almost trial-like stretches which then become more flow in the final part.
We’ll then climb up the Bernina Pass along a dirt road that runs alongside the railway for about 2 km and, flanking the Lago Bianco, we’ll go up a dirt road to a refuge.
From here the view of the Piz Palü Glacier is a breathtaking sight.
The effort to reach this panoramic plateau will be rewarded with a beautiful natural trail that will take us to Lach Palü, with some really challenging stretches where your technical skills will be put to the test!
On reaching Cavaglia, we’ll climb for about 1 km up an asphalt road to where we start the new path, opened and adjusted by guys from Valposchiavo last summer. A short stretch to be covered on foot, equipped with fixed ropes, a cable car to carry the bike across a stream and a breathtaking trail are the highlights of our day that will lead us to San Carlo.
We will be met by the shuttle to take us to the Bernina Pass, where we can have lunch. We will return to Livigno not before facing the last climb of the day, about 200 m of height difference, to then enjoy the descent to Livigno, passing through the Forcola Pass.
